Tout Petit Rêve to Launch Officially in Abidjan on April 22

A new association focused on supporting disadvantaged children is set to make its public debut in Côte d'Ivoire. Tout Petit Rêve will officially launch on Wednesday, April 22, at the Jacobleu Art Gallery in the 2 Plateaux district of Abidjan, near Las Palmas, beginning at 7 p.m. The event is expected to serve as a key milestone in the operationalisation of the organisation's programmes and activities.

A Mission Centred on Vulnerable Children

The association's founder outlined the vision and core missions of Tout Petit Rêve during an appearance on the Friday Show, broadcast on NCI — La Nouvelle Chaîne Ivoirienne — and hosted by presenter Yasmine Reda. The organisation aims to provide concrete accompaniment and support to underprivileged children, with a particular focus on those living with sickle cell disease, a hereditary blood disorder that remains a significant public health concern across sub-Saharan Africa.

Sickle Cell Disease in the Spotlight

During the television interview, the founder stressed the urgent need to strengthen public awareness around sickle cell disease and to offer tangible support to affected children and their families. Drawing on personal experience, they shared the motivations that led to the creation of the initiative, emphasising that sustained collective engagement is essential to advancing the cause. Sickle cell disease affects millions of people across Africa, yet awareness, early diagnosis, and access to care remain inadequate in many communities.
